Overview
Digital and Data Transformation - Analyst Programmer - Auckland. This is a full-time, permanent position (Monday - Friday, minimum hours : 37.5 per week). Projects range from small, distinct pieces of work to large-scale, longer-term client engagements. Located in Auckland.
As an Analyst Programmer (Integration), you will work within an existing team of engineers in our Digital and Data Team in Auckland. You will support the lead engineer to break down complex problems, identify simple solutions and develop and implement data and integration solutions using Microsoft Azure, Mulesoft or SAP Integration Suite services. You will also help gather / refine integration requirements and support data standardisation, analytics and reporting activities.
Your strengths in data and integration (e.g., Mulesoft, SAP Integration Suite) will be used across requirements gathering, integration design, data standardisation, analytics and reporting. You should be excited by data integrations, eager to learn new technologies, and adept at leveraging GenAI in the software engineering process.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with the wider team to implement solutions using Microsoft Azure Data Integration Services, Mulesoft or SAP Integration Suite.
- Understand integration solution design and develop applications that follow the design.
- Make modifications and enhancements to existing integration applications for clients.
- Participate in scoping, design, and estimation exercises as part of the development team.
- Test applications to ensure completed work meets requirements and aligns with the agreed designs.
- Diagnose and repair software defects; assist clients with technical problems and help resolve issues.
Skills and experience
Strong analytical and problem solving skills.Experience developing integration applications using enterprise integration platforms such as MuleSoft, SAP Integration Suite, or developing APIs.Proficiency with data and integration technologies, certifications (Mulesoft Certified Developer, Azure Data Engineering, Azure AI).Significant experience contributing to the design of integration solutions for clients.Working knowledge of cloud platforms (e.g., Azure and AWS) and CI / CD practices.Desire to learn and progress within the firm; ability and willingness to learn new technologies.At least 2 years of experience consulting with clients in a professional services setting.Excellent time management, ability to meet tight deadlines and prioritise tasks.Experience coaching junior analysts in a team.Excellent verbal and written communication skills; able to collaborate with team members and talk to clients confidently.Other information
