Salesforce Developer (12-month Fixed Term Contract)
This role will report to our Salesforce Team Lead, where you will hit the ground running with your expertise on all things Salesforce.
Your expert knowledge of Salesforce will ensure that we are designing and building low-cost, high-quality solutions to our business problems.
Your keen eye will be key in ensuring our design standards and build guidelines are adhered to, identifying opportunities for efficiencies and supporting the Salesforce Team.
To do this you will be :
Working closely with our other Salesforce Developer on declarative and programmatic development, solution design, and review
Working with our Business Analysts to help define technical requirements
Maintaining system integrations, AppExchange products, and custom code within our Org
Adhering to DevOps processes and identifying opportunities for automation within the CI / CD pipeline
Helping triage, debug, and fix Salesforce issues, escalating, and collaborating with external vendors and developers where appropriate
A bit about you :
You're the kind of person that loves a good problem and will be ready to jump in to solve it.
The techie stuff that you can bring to the table will include :
A current Salesforce Platform App Builder certification (SU20)
A current Salesforce Platform Developer I certification (CRT-450)
An understanding of the principles and best practices of Salesforce data modelling, interface design, code development, and testing, and can apply these principles in real-world development environments
Experience implementing Apex SOAP and REST web services, and asynchronous programming, e.g. queueable, batchable, schedulable, platform events, @future, etc.
Experience in completing System, User Acceptance, and Post Verification Testing
Experience with CI / CD configuration and Atlassian platforms is preferable
A current Salesforce Administrator certification (SP20) is preferable
