OverviewThe role focuses on providing hands-on support for end-user workplace technology, ensuring smooth operation and integration of IT-related tasks within the organization.ResponsibilitiesProvide hands-on support for workplace technology including laptops, thin clients, and peripherals.Perform hardware tasks such as cabling, device delivery, setup, imaging, and resets.Manage local stock and coordinate storage activities, ensuring accurate asset tracking and availability.Act as onsite support for troubleshooting and resolving technical issues.Work closely with other IT teams to ensure coherent technology support.Key RequirementsExperience in IT support roles, especially with end-user devices.Proficient in configuring and troubleshooting desktop and laptop systems.Solid understanding of networking concepts and peripheral devices.Nice to HaveExperience with ticketing systems.Basic knowledge of Active Directory and user management.Certification in ITIL or similar frameworks.Other DetailsThis position is based in New Zealand as part of a larger IT support team reporting to the IT Manager.
