Working with a team of talented engineers, managed service providers, and external partners, you'll ensure seamless delivery of platforms and services while driving continuous improvement.In this role, you will : Lead the strategy for Northpower's digital infrastructure, aligning with business goals and future growth.Manage a team of engineers and external providers, ensuring consistent, high-quality service delivery.Oversee digital infrastructure platforms, networks and services while maintaining robust security and disaster recovery plans.Act as a key escalation point for high-priority (P1) incidents, supporting quick resolution and clear communication.Drive innovation by identifying new technologies, tools, and processes to enhance efficiency and reduce operational costs.Manage vendor relationships, contracts, and budgets to achieve maximum value and performance.Foster a strong team culture through coaching, mentoring, and professional development.This role may require after-hours availability and occasional travel.About you : We're looking for a visionary leader with the ability to balance operational strategy, commercial acumen and hands-on technical expertise.
You'll have : 10+ years' experience in digital infrastructure management, including at least 5 years in leadership roles.Proven success in designing, building, and managing complex infrastructure platforms.Strong technical knowledge of cloud technologies, modern infrastructure-as-code, and enterprise-level systems.Experience with cybersecurity management, disaster recovery, and network architecture.Strong vendor and commercial management skills, including budget planning and delivery.A deep understanding of ITIL practices and service delivery processes.Excellent communication and leadership skills, with the ability to engage both technical teams and senior business stakeholders.A degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or equivalent experience.What's in it for you?
