About the National Cyber Security Centre (NCSC)

The National Cyber Security Centre (NCSC) is the heart of Aotearoa New Zealand's cyber defence. We fulfil the cyber security responsibilities of the Government Communications Security Bureau (GCSB) | Te Tira Tiaki, to detect and disrupt high-impact cyber threats nationally.

About the Role

You will design, build, and manage our enterprise network, cloud, and Linux platforms. As the subject‑matter expert for Computer Network Defence (CND), you will :

• Strengthen GCSB's capability to detect, disrupt, and deter sophisticated cyber threats.
• Work alongside a high‑performing team of CND Systems Engineers on mission‑critical projects.
• Mentor junior engineers and champion automation and best‑practice adoption.
