The role : Lead the Health & Safety strategy and culture across the national network.

This is a critical leadership role within our senior team, responsible for creating a safe, healthy, and inclusive working environment.

What You'll DoDevelop and implement an integrated Health & Safety strategy that promotes a strong, proactive safety culture.Lead risk management across the organisation, ensuring hazards are identified, assessed, and effectively managed.Ensure Health & Safety policies, procedures, and practices meet all legal, regulatory, and industry standards.Provide leadership and advice to the senior leadership team, managers, and employees on all aspects of Health & Safety.Lead incident and near-miss investigations, implementing corrective actions and sharing learnings across the network.Drive Health & Safety training, mentoring, and supporting H&S representatives and leaders across the business.Oversee Health & Safety audits, reporting, and compliance metrics, driving continuous improvement.

Skills & ExperienceTertiary qualifications in Health & Safety or a related discipline (Diploma or higher).5+ years' experience in a Health & Safety leadership role within distribution, construction, or manufacturing sectors.In-depth knowledge of the New Zealand Health & Safety at Work Act
