If you answered yes to the above, then you're the person we want to join our team.As a Duty Manager at EVENT Cinemas Manukau, you'll assist in managing the day-to-day operation of our cinema to ensure we exceed our customers' expectations whilst maximising our profits.Responsibilities of the role will include : Monitoring SPH & Admissions as well as ensuring targets are metCreating a working environment where our team members can reach their full potentialDemonstrating professional behaviours & modelling our values to all team membersHelping to lead our team, including rewarding & recognising strong performance, coaching & development as well as performance managementProviding excellence in service to our customersEnsuring operations and business runs smoothly in the absence of the Cinema ManagerWe want you to be the best you can be so you'll bring to this role : Previous experience in a leadership role ideally in the retail, food service or hospitality / leisure industryAbility to work on a 7 day rotating roster including late nights, weekends and public holidaysA high level of self-motivation & the ability to get the job doneSuperior organisational and multi-tasking skillsA real passion for our customers and employeesAt least one year's Supervisory or Management experience
