Our success is due to our excellent customer service, first-class facilities, majestic scenery, and wild terrain.This role requires you to greet staff in Methven and transport them safely, friendly, and informatively to and from our ski area.

You will also shuttle guests and their gear around our car parks and assist the Roads Department with their daily duties.This is a varied and autonomous role suited to anyone who enjoys interacting with guests and holds the relevant licenses.About the RoleTransport staff between Methven and Mt Hutt daily, and shuttle guests from lower car parks to the base area and backDrive with fuel efficiency and guest comfort in mindPractice safe and courteous driving at all timesLoad skis and snowboards onto racks securely for guestsAdhere to schedules and timetablesAssist with bus loading as neededRespond to weather and road conditions appropriatelyProvide friendly and engaging service to Mt Hutt guestsEfficiently fit and remove snow chains, and store them correctlyManage customer complaints and queries professionallyMaintain clear and timely radio communicationPerform bus start-up checks each morningAssist with car parking, road patrolling, snow gritting / clearing, and helping guests with snow chainsSupport other departments, such as Food and Beverage, as requiredAbout YouExceed guest expectations with personable hosting and professional drivingMaintain a reasonable level of fitness, as the role can be physically demandingBe willing to assist in other departments and take on additional dutiesUnderstand that employment depends on weather conditions and hours cannot be guaranteedSkills and QualificationsValid NZ driver's license, class 2 license, and P endorsement (must be obtained before starting)Experience driving light vehicles, loaders, and trucks on snow and ice is advantageousAs Kaitiaki of the mountains, we are committed to our environment, people, and communities.
