Playcentre seeks to empower whanau and tamariki to work, play, learn and grow together, and today has over 400 centres nationwide.About the role : Reporting to the Chief Financial Officer, you will oversee the effective operation of the Accounts Payable and Receivable, Bank Reconciliation and Payroll processes.Leadership opportunity in a diverse roleMake a difference in a not-for-profit organisationBased in central PoriruaDuties include, but are not limited to : Leading the transactional accounts functions through a period of changeBeing the escalation point for any issues in these functionsOverseeing the development and mapping of finance processesWorking closely with the Procurement Lead to find opportunities to reduce invoice volumeAbout you : This is a unique opportunity to use your extensive experience in accounts payable and / or payroll processing at a leadership level, to make a positive difference for this important and iconic NZ organisation.The ideal candidate will have the following : Detailed knowledge of accounting concepts and practicesDemonstrable experience managing a successful accounts processing teamExperience mapping processes, identifying key controls and implementing changeEnjoys working collaboratively, with a 'can do' attitude and strong customer focusHighly developed interpersonal skills; able to relate effectively and authentically at all levelsEmpathy for the philosophy and values of PlaycentreA high level of initiative with effective planning, project co-ordination and organisational abilitiesRecognises the "big picture" in issues while also attending to detailExperience in Dynamics Business Central, or a similar systemA tertiary qualification in accounting or qualified by experienceClosing Date : 17 October
