BAS Manager

Overview

An opportunity has become available due to company growth with a well renowned and highly regarded accounting practice in Wellington. They are looking for a high quality accountant for this Manager level role who may have a desire for future long term progression opportunities in the future. You will have a minimum of 5 years accounting experience and it is vital that at least the majority of this comes from New Zealand companies.

Responsibilities

Strong interpersonal skills are crucial due to the need to lead a team, given that you may have direct reports in the role and are responsible for training and developing these individuals. These skills are also vital given the client facing demands of the job and so you have the answers to tough questions which will be thrown your way! The Partners offer true flexibility. In this role you will have the ability to work from home 2+ days a week and the firm are very open on taking on either a full-time or part-time applicant.

Qualifications

It is expected that you will be CA qualified for this role. Having experience with Xero and other software would be an advantage as well. You will have a minimum of 5 years accounting experience and it is vital that at least the majority of this comes from New Zealand companies.
