About the Role

Our professional services oriented client is looking for an Applications Manager to oversee the daily operations and performance of a multidisciplinary BAU Support team. This role involves leading developers, testers, and business analysts, ensuring excellent service delivery and strong client relationships, reporting to the Senior Managing Consultant.

Responsibilities

Lead operational management of the BAU Support team
Provide coaching and mentorship to team members
Manage client relationships and communicate effectively
Resolve escalated issues for supported applications
Ensure SLAs and OLAs are met or exceeded
Maintain service quality and drive continuous improvement

Skills & Experience

Proven experience leading a technical support team

Ability to communicate complex concepts simply

Experience delivering customer service in a technical environment

Knowledge of Service Management (ITIL) principles

Strong problem-solving and process management skills

Preferably experience working with public sector clients
