OverviewSenior IT Support Specialist, works closely with the IT Client Services Team Lead, and Propulsion Test Complex (PTC) site Manager.
You will be the sole on-site IT infrastructure support for staff and Launch Engineers / Technicians at the Propulsion Test Complex (PTC).
ResponsibilitiesCarry out day-to-day IT services to deliver efficient IT support.Serve as the first point of contact for onboarding new hires to ensure they are setup and productive from day one.Provide instruction, guidance, technical support, and documentation to different teams.Deliver and support IT systems through effective management of the IT Service Desk.Build strong relationships and act as the Subject Matter Expert.Provide Launch Operation support during Launch periods.Required qualifications and experience2+ years' experience in a support or service role.Basic understanding and experience in following a framework for service delivery such as ITIL.Operational knowledge of Windows and / or Linux desktop operating systems.PC hardware experience including assembling and disassembling desktop PCs.Active Directory and Group Policy.Understanding of networking infrastructure.Virtualization technologies and public / private cloud.Nice-to-haveCertifications in CompTIA A+ or ITIL.Windows and / or Linux server (Ubuntu / Debian) enterprise environments.Cloud-based technologies : Azure, AWS, O365, etc.Security frameworks and technology : ISO 27001, NIST 800-171, IPSEC, SSL VPNs, firewalls, etc.What to expect and how to applyIf you meet most or all of the above requirements, apply now.
