Senior System Engineer

A global Cloud and IT MSP has set up a North Shore office is looking to hire a Senior Systems Engineer to jointheir team of 80+ engineers across the UK, US and Europe.

You'll be part of a team delivering a “follow-the-sun” service, providing 24x7 support services across their global client base. This role is shift-based (details below) with daily hand-overs to / from your northern hemisphere colleagues.

The Role

Delivering a wide variety of solutions and services to clients, this role includes :

• 3-month contract with potential for permanent employment
• Level 3 support, troubleshooting, monitoring and configuring systems
• Proactive system upgrades and patching
• Change management governance and impacts assessments
• Maintaining and contributing to the internal knowledge base of technical documentation and SOPs
• Identifying and implementing automation opportunities and areas for service delivery improvement
• Escalation point for other ICT teams
