We are looking for a Senior Platform Engineer to play a pivotal role in building innovative, scalable, and reliable solutions that support software and test engineers across our organisation. As part of our cross-functional platform team, you will design and implement application solutions in the cloud, while driving technical research and development to enable ongoing innovation within the DevOps space. This is an opportunity to influence how platforms are engineered, while mentoring others and contributing to a culture of collaboration and excellence.

Responsibilities

• Implement scalable, resilient, and secure solutions in public cloud environments, particularly AWS.
• Enhance automation and Infrastructure as Code delivery to improve efficiency, reduce costs, and streamline processes.
• Partner with development teams to continuously improve engineering maturity and delivery practices.
• Troubleshoot complex software and infrastructure issues, developing tools and systems for automation.
• Contribute to research and development of cloud-native and on-premises solutions.
• Support and manage DevOps toolsets, observability solutions, and middleware layers.
• Act as Scrum Master when required, contributing to backlog grooming, sprint planning, and user story refinement.
• Provide rostered after-hours on-call support as needed.
• Coach and mentor junior engineers, while fostering a DevOps-focused culture across the team.
