The Opportunity
We're looking for a Senior DevSecOps Engineer to take ownership of our global cloud infrastructure and DevSecOps practices.
In this role, you'll be the go-to expert — designing secure, scalable, and observable systems that power our eCommerce SaaS platform across five continents.
You'll own and evolve CI / CD pipelines, infrastructure-as-code, and Kubernetes deployments, ensuring our software is delivered with speed, reliability, and security.
Beyond hands-on engineering, you'll influence strategy, mentor peers, and champion best practices that keep our platforms resilient and our customers' businesses running smoothly.

What You'll Do
As a Senior DevSecOps Engineer, you will :
Be the go-to person for DevSecOps areas & components, providing hands-on guidance and strategic direction.
Own and evolve BidOne's global cloud infrastructure, ensuring robustness, security, and cost-efficiency.
Design, implement, and maintain Infrastructure as Code (IaC) to ensure consistency and scalability.
Own CI / CD pipelines design, setup, maintenance, and configuration management.
Automate build, test, deployment, and monitoring processes across environments.
Design and implement secure, scalable deployment pipelines on Kubernetes through progressive delivery.
Integrate and optimize modern deployment workflows with Istio, Argo, and observability tools.
Use AI tools to improve productivity, development efficiency, and quality.
Lead production incident response, root cause analysis, and recovery.
Contribute to high availability, disaster recovery strategies, and manage failover scenarios.
Champion security and compliance practices across the company, improving assigned security tooling.
Implement and maintain monitoring, alerting, and logging systems for visibility and reliability.
Collaborate with product, development, QA, and support teams to deliver valuable customer outcomes.
Share knowledge via training programs, workshops, and maintain clear documentation.
What You'll Bring
Technical Skills
5+ years in DevSecOps, SRE, or cloud engineering roles, with a strong focus on production-grade Kubernetes systems.
Fluent in at least one programming language.
Proven experience with :
Kubernetes (incl. Helm, RBAC, scaling, networking)
GitOps deployments / CI / CD pipelines (e.g., GitHub Actions, ArgoCD, Jenkins)
Service mesh (preferably Istio), canary deployments, traffic management
IaC tools (Terraform, Bicep)
Cloud platforms (Azure preferred; AWS / GCP also relevant)
Git branching strategies and GitHub Enterprise
Monitoring, alerts, observability (Datadog, Prometheus, Grafana)
Security controls (mTLS, identity management, policy enforcement)
Relational & NoSQL databases in cloud-native contexts
Familiar with feature flags, A / B testing, progressive rollout strategies.
Comfortable using AI tools (e.g., GitHub Copilot, ChatGPT, Tabnine, Cursor) in engineering workflows.
Strong problem-solving skills and ability to simplify complexity.

Qualifications
Tertiary qualification in Computer Science or related field (preferred).
Azure certification AZ-104 (required), AZ-400 a strong plus.
