Finance Services Payroll Officer – Auckland, New Zealand
We are seeking a qualified Finance Services Payroll Officer to assist in the administration of GHD’s payroll systems and processes. This position will play an integral role in ensuring the accurate, timely, and cost-effective execution of payroll functions for GHD.
Responsibilities
- Partner with other GHD employees and stakeholders to respond to enquiries
- Support the delivery of GHD Payroll Services and Payroll Improvement projects
- Assist in preparation of all employee tax obligations and returns
- Contribute to test plans, review of test outcomes with the Service Delivery and Operations teams, including delivery support
- Support as required the preparation, investigation and management of ad hoc payroll reconciliations and monthly payroll balance sheet reconciliations
Qualifications
Knowledge of payroll legislation and core payroll upstream and downstream processesThe ability to truly Business Partner with an agile and growth mindsetEffective communication skills across different internal stakeholders at all levelsKnowledge and experience of a HRIS and payroll system (ADP Global view) would be preferred but is not essential.Experience in standard Microsoft Office applications with intermediate skills in Excel and Word applicationsAptitude for numerical work and problem solving with a high degree of detail and accuracy in all areas of workLocation
This role can be located in Auckland, New Zealand.
