We are looking for a restaurant manager to be part of a senior team in a busy operation.
This role is for self-starters with a high level of initiative, boundless energy, passionate about engaging a team and capable of delivering exceptional customer focused results.
The role is based in our Balmoral restaurant (192 Balmoral Road, Balmoral, Auckland).
This senior role will be a minimum of 32.5 hours each and not exceeding 45.0 hours per week, fulltime ranging across different day parts.
You must have a proven track record of leading a busy McDonalds restaurant, have the McDonalds RLP / LGR qualification or currently working on this program, a pre-requisite.
Tertiary education is an advantage.

Full role responsibilities provided on the job description; however, some include :
Lead a large team to deliver outstanding hospitality, sales, people practices and profitability to ensure every customer has a memorable McDonald's experience.
Exceed restaurant profit and growth through the ongoing monitoring of budgets; developing strategies and plans to effectively and appropriately respond to trends.
Utilise restaurant metrics and reporting data to assess progress against goals and identify actions if required
Leads the compliance for all safety and security standards which includes investigating all incidents and taking corrective actions to ensure a safe working environment for all employees and customers.
Legal knowledge of the NZ health and safety act is a minimum.
Guarantee the restaurant is appropriately staffed with well-trained and happy staff from hiring through to performance management processes up to including terminating employment if required.
Must meet all NZ legal employment requirements
Lead the maintenance team to ensure equipment and infrastructure is well maintained and the large level of stock on hand at any given time is effectively managed.
Create and execute a qtrly sales plan including marketing initiatives, local business leader interactions and pricing.
