Office Administrator – Central Metals (Part-time, 9am–3pm, four days a week)
We are a small, family-owned metal recycling business.
With a team of 10 hardworking people from the office to the yard, we are looking for a friendly, down-to-earth Office Administrator to keep our operations running smoothly and support our next stage of growth.
About the role
This is a busy, varied role where no two days are the same.
You'll be at the heart of the business, ensuring that the office is organised, the books are balanced, and communication flows between customers, office team, and the yard team.
Preparing reports, maintaining files, and overseeing general administration.
Managing finances using Xero, including reconciliations, payments, and checks / balances.
Purchasing products and managing customer payments.
Support in coordination of on-selling outbound product.
Supporting the rollout of a new, streamlined stock management system.
Handling general queries, managing orders, and liaising with the yard team.
