Overview
We are looking for a Business Support Administrator to join the Customer and Community Services Unit within the Council's Customer and Community Group.
Reporting to the Business Support Team Lead, the role provides administration support to the Unit which comprises Libraries, Aquatics and Customer Services, with a particular focus on purchasing and facility management.
You will be a professional communicator, a task-oriented person who is highly organised and able to ensure the day-to-day admin and financial processes are delivered to a high standard.
Responsibilities
Provide high quality administration support to the Unit Director and leadership team
Organise meetings, take minutes, and coordinate catering
Maintain filing systems, training records and staff records
Process invoices, purchase orders, and monthly stock take orders
Review and update administration processes
Support and co-ordinate on-site maintenance
Qualifications and Skills
Bring an understanding of and commitment to delivering on the principles of Te Tiriti o Waitangi
Minimum 2 years administration experience, preferably in financial and process monitoring and improvement
Excellent level of accuracy in administration processes, ability to multi-task and stay organised to deliver required workflow
Natural team player, able to influence across teams and demonstrate a high level of confidence and professionalism communicating administration needs
Customer focus

Salary
Circa $74,000 dependent on skills and experience.
