Office Manager Kopine

OverviewKopine is part of NZ Panels Group, a leading manufacturer and distributor of decorative interior panel products used by the joinery industry.

Specified by New Zealand's top architects and designers, our products can be found in the country's leading homes and commercial buildings.

Our long time Office Manager at our Kopine particleboard plant in Kopu / Thames is heading off for a lifestyle change, so we're looking for someone to come on board to take over this pivotal role - which holds our whole site together!

Reporting to the Site Manager, you will efficiently and effectively carry out all site support functions including various administration duties, payroll coordination, dispatch and logistic functions, purchasing, invoicing, and closely assisting the Technical Manager and Site Supervisors.This role is extremely varied, it has office work, but you will also be required to undertake work around the site such as taking readings of machinery.

This means you will need to be comfortable getting out from behind the desk and working an industrial, male-dominated, heavy manufacturing environment.You will have previous experience in a similar office manager / administration / coordinator role for at least 5 years.

You\'ll not be phased by working on a manufacturing site that isn\'t \'pretty\' but is the jewel in the company\'s crown.You'll be highly focused on accuracy, timeliness and exemplary customer service.

You\'ll be self-motivated and passionate about ensuring that everything runs smoothly at the site, including being highly committed to the safety of yourself and others.You'll have prior experience in basic payroll principles and an intermediate to advanced level of computer literacy.

You'll be adept at problem solving and have very strong communication skills both verbal and written.

You're also down to earth and enjoy working in a small tight knit team - where it's normal to have a laugh every day.We\'ll provide full training and handover, so you can learn everything you need to know before our current Office Manager moves on - what a great opportunity!
