Retail Store Manager

Job descriptionPlan and coordinate the overall operations of the store, ensuring smooth day-to-day functioning. Develop and implement sales strategies to meet store revenue and profitability targets. Cash handling and operating the cash register Deliver exceptional customer service and handle customer inquiries, feedback, or complaints professionally. Supervise, train, and motivate staff, fostering a positive and productive work environment. Monitor and manage budgets, ensuring financial goals are achieved, and prepare financial reports as needed. Ensuring that staff conduct themselves according to the company standards and policy Always maintaining a clean and hygiene work environment at all times Communicate with customers to receive feedback and manage complaints. Implementation of store initiatives. Manage stock levels, including ordering, receiving, and inventory control to minimize wastage and maintain availability. Creating staff rosters and making sure that the store has the required number of staff for smooth and efficient running of the store at all times Perform administrative duties as required by the owner Manage the store’s product mix, ensuring a variety that aligns with customer demand and maximizes sales opportunities. Monitor Opening and closing the store on time as required Ensure compliance with health, safety, and regulatory requirements within the retail environment.
As a Retail Store Manager, you will be leading customer interactions and ensuring an exceptional retail experience. Your role is crucial in driving sales and maximising profits for the store.
To be successful in the role, you should possess excellent interpersonal and communication skills. The ability to multitask effectively and maintain composure in high-pressure situations is essential.
Job Requirements :
- At least 02 years of relevant work experience or a level 5 qualification in business.
- Minimum 30 hours guaranteed per week
