About the Role

Womens Assessment and Delivery Suite operate 24 / 7, and in this vital role you will be rostered across a seven-day schedule, ensuring seamless support for our busy team.

Key responsibilities :

Deliver high quality, customer-focused reception services.

Accurately verify and input vital patient information.

Liaise effectively with patients, whanau, caregivers, and healthcare professionals.

Collaborate with Womens Health clinical and administration staff to ensure seamless operations.

Contribute to a positive workplace culture and support ongoing quality improvements.

About Hamilton

Waikato Hospital is a major regional hospital in Hamilton and is a leading tertiary teaching hospital located in Hamilton, New Zealand, serving as the regional hub for the Midland area, which includes the Waikato, Bay of Plenty, Lakes, Tairawhiti, and Taranaki districts.

With around 722 inpatient beds, 22 operating theatres, and a dedicated outpatient clinic and procedure centre, Waikato Hospital provides comprehensive hospital services, including radiology, laboratory, and pharmacy.

Previous experience as a receptionist or in administration, preferably in a healthcare setting.

Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

A commitment to excellence and integrity in all interactions.

A proactive approach to personal responsibility and well-being.

The ability to handle shift work with stamina and enthusiasm.
