Fonterra Oceania is our newly formed entity that merges the Fonterra Brands New Zealand (FBNZ) and Fonterra Australia operations, aimed at enhancing our competitive position in the trans-Tasman dairy market. The integration of Fonterra Brands New Zealand (FBNZ) and Fonterra Australia builds on similarities to outperform the competition, create scale and synergies, and will strengthen our competitive edge. This role will join a team that helps to build an even stronger trans-Tasman dairy business with reach across Oceania and beyond.

This 12-month fixed term contract is a fantastic opportunity to make an immediate impact by owning key grocery categories and customer relationships, while contributing to strategic planning and commercial outcomes. You’ll be part of a collaborative team that values autonomy, supports each other, and celebrates wins together. Reporting to the Senior Key Account Manager, you will :

  • Take ownership of key categories and customer relationships with confidence
  • Lead strategic account planning, forecasting, and commercial initiatives
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with demand planning, sales, and marketing teams
  • Present category reviews and growth opportunities to customers
  • Drive forecasting accuracy and manage invoice processing workflows
  • Contribute to cross-functional projects that align with business priorities

    You’re an experienced Key Account Manager with a background in grocery and a passion for delivering results. You’re ready to hit the ground running, take ownership, and contribute meaningfully to a fast-paced, supportive team. In addition to your commercial acumen, you will bring :

  • Proven experience in grocery account management
  • A collaborative, team-first mindset with strong stakeholder engagement skills
  • Strategic thinking and the ability to translate insights into action
  • Confidence in using data to inform decisions and drive growth
  • Resilience, adaptability, and a proactive approach to challenges
