About The Project

The Ōtaki to North of Levin (Ō2NL) highway will dramatically improve safety, resilience, and efficiency, while increasing transport choices for a growing population. The project is being delivered in partnership with NZ Transport Agency Waka Kotahi, Muaūpoko Tribal Authority, local hapū of Ngāti Raukawa ki te Tonga, and Horowhenua District Council. This is a transformative infrastructure project delivered using a two-alliance model. Our shared project principles include treading lightly on the whenua, building strong partnerships, and delivering an enduring legacy. About The Role

The Accounts Payable Administrator provides financial, administrative, and clerical support to the Ō2NL Southern Alliance Project Team. This role is embedded within the Finance team and is responsible for ensuring accurate and timely processing of accounts payable and general accounting functions, in alignment with Alliance policies and systems. The role also supports broader project administration and contributes to continuous improvement initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

• Process supplier invoices in line with the Alliance financial policies
• Reconcile misallocated invoices and supplier statements to ensure financial accuracy
• Assist the accounting team with payment batches and prepare monthly accrual lists
• Ensure correct coding of invoices and timesheets are aligned with project cost structures
• Provide documentation and support for audits and maintain compliance across the board
• Maintain accounts payable filing systems and support general project administration
• Liaise with suppliers, subcontractors, and internal teams to resolve queries
• Identify opportunities for process improvement and support financial risk mitigation
