Ngā Kura ā Iwi o Aotearoa Incorporated (NKAI) is a constituted body that represents and supports tribal schools that affiliate to our organisation voluntarily.

We are looking for an exceptional, passionate and innovative educator to join our teaching team in Te Whare Angitu. Te Whare Angitu contributes to the educational pathways of Uri (students) from across the kura ā iwi network through online programmes. We are looking for an innovative and experienced teacher who can support the aspirations of Uri and kura in the STEM curriculum area.

About the role

As Kaiarahi Pūrau, you’ll lead the development and delivery of online NCEA Pūrau (STEM) courses. You’ll design engaging lesson content and assessment aligned with both the New Zealand Curriculum and Te Marautanga o Aotearoa. You will model excellent teaching practice in both online and face to face settings, and support Uri with high quality pastoral care.
