Has strong interpersonal skills and a highly positive, collaborative attitudeCommunicates effectively and builds strong relationships with akonga, whanau, and staffDemonstrates a commitment to equitable outcomes and believes in the potential of every learnerEmbeds bicultural practice and integrates te reo Maori and tikanga authentically into daily classroom lifeHas sound knowledge of the New Zealand Curriculum , particularly in literacy and numeracyIs a reflective practitioner who adapts their teaching to meet the needs of learnersWorks collaboratively within a supportive, professional teamHas strong classroom management and creates a safe, engaging learning environment.
