The Assistant Chief Concierge plays a key leadership role within the Front of House team, managing the Concierge operations while providing hands-on support and coverage to the Front Desk as needed.
This hybrid position ensures seamless guest experiences from arrival to departure by delivering exceptional service, anticipating guest needs, and maintaining close collaboration between the Concierge and Front Desk teams.
What will I be doing?
Concierge Operations
Oversee all Concierge and transportation functions to ensure smooth, efficient, and guest-focused service.
Develop, communicate, and ensure adherence to all luggage handling procedures.
Supervise and guide the Concierge team, ensuring Hilton and hotel policies are consistently followed.
Coordinate and monitor timely delivery and collection of guest luggage.
Ensure proper reception and farewell of VIP guests and Hilton Honors members at both the hotel and airport.
Maintain in-depth knowledge of local attractions, events, and services to offer tailored recommendations and experiences.
Ensure all Concierge team members maintain professional grooming and presentation standards.
Identify and recommend service enhancements, cost efficiencies, and revenue opportunities.
Front Desk Support
Provide support to the Front Desk team during peak periods, large group arrivals / departures, or in the absence of key personnel.
Handle guest check-ins, check-outs, and billing in accordance with Hilton brand standards.
Assist with resolving guest concerns promptly and professionally.
Liaise with other departments to ensure smooth communication and operational efficiency.
Maintain a consistent presence in the lobby to engage with guests and support both Concierge and Front Desk functions.
Leadership & Administration
Set and monitor team goals in alignment with departmental and hotel objectives.
Ensure all reporting and service deadlines are met.
Promote a culture of teamwork, service excellence, and accountability.
Adhere to hotel safety, security, and emergency policies and procedures.
Perform other reasonable duties as assigned by management.
What are we looking for?
Secondary school education and above.
At least 3 years of supervisory level experience in Concierge and Front Desk operation.
Fluent in English and a second language to meet business needs.
Appreciate Hilton's culture.
Good character, ethics, and strict adherence to laws, regulations, and internal policies.
Strong sense of principle, professional management ability, excellent interpersonal skills, sense of decency, honesty and reliability.
Strong sense of responsibility and learning ability.
Hotel management experience preferred but not required.
Member of the Golden Key Association preferred.
