Job descriptionAt least 2 years of proven experience in cabinetmaking / furniture making. Confident in reading technical drawings and using tools and machinery effectively. Strong attention to detail with a commitment to producing high-quality finishes. Positive, reliable, and collaborative team player with a can-do attitude. Be reasonably fit to perform repetitive tasks. Strong focus on workplace safety. Applicants must have a right to live and work in New Zealand. A criminal background check and / or drug test may be conducted as part of the recruitment process.
We specialise in bespoke upholstered furniture, crafting custom sofas, chairs, booth seating, ottomans, headboards, and more, proudly partnering with exceptional retail stores and designers across New Zealand. We are seeking an experienced Cabinetmaker to join our team.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform wood joinery and frame assembly with precision and attention to detail.
- Read and interpret technical drawings to produce high-quality furniture and fittings.
- Operate woodworking machinery safely and efficiently.
- Repair, polish, and upholster furniture to maintain excellent craftsmanship standards.

Why Join Us
Salary : $27 to $30 per hour, depending on skills and experience.
Hours : Minimum 30 hours per week
Operating hours : 8 : 30 to 5 : 00 Monday to Friday, with occasional Saturday work required in peak periods.
Location : Northshore, Auckland.
