Senior Assistant Manager, HR (Medical Manpower Planning)
Location : One-NorthWorking Hours : Office Hours (8 : 30am–6 : 00pm) — Flexibility required to align with clinicians' schedules (early mornings from 7am+ or after 6pm)Working Days : Monday to Friday
We are seeking an experienced Senior Assistant Manager, HR (Medical Manpower) to join the Medical Manpower Office.
This is a specialised HR role working closely with clinicians, focusing on manpower planning, HR advisory, and performance management for medical specialists.
The ideal candidate is analytical, adaptable, and comfortable partnering senior clinical stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities
Manpower Planning & Strategy
Lead and support specialist manpower planning discussions with clinical service lines.
Monitor workforce adequacy, identify pipeline gaps, and highlight potential manpower risks.
Document and track outcomes of manpower meetings and follow-ups.
Central Resourcing for Medical Specialists
Manage end-to-end resourcing processes including interviewing, selection, offer administration, and onboarding.
Performance Management for Clinicians
Co-facilitate Total Performance Management processes at the cluster level.
Prepare data, perform analysis, create charts, and support calibration and promotion exercises.
Policy Development & HR Advisory
Keep abreast of medical HR policies and recommend enhancements.
Provide advisory on HR policies, procedures, legislation, and manpower planning matters affecting clinicians.
Team Leadership & Collaboration
Supervise and coach junior executives to ensure smooth and professional delivery of HR services.
Lead or contribute to HR projects and initiatives as assigned.
Requirements
Bachelor's or Master's Degree.
Minimum 4 years of HR experience, preferably in HR Business Partnering.
Must have : Prior manpower planning experience.
Digital-savvy with strong analytical skills and proficiency in MS Excel (data analysis, dashboards, charts).
Meticulous, numerically strong, and an effective problem-solver.
Experience in the healthcare sector is an advantage.
