About the role

We are seeking an experienced and driven General Manager – Trade Sales to lead and grow trade sales performance across the Christchurch region. Reporting to the senior leadership team, this role will oversee both the internal sales function and a team of account managers.

You’ll be responsible for developing and executing sales strategies, driving customer engagement, and ensuring a consistent, high-quality service across multiple store locations. This is a pivotal leadership role where you will shape the culture, coach high-performing teams, and deliver on ambitious growth targets.

Key responsibilities

• Lead, coach, and mentor internal sales staff and account managers.
• Develop and implement trade sales strategies across the region.
• Build strong relationships with key customers and industry partners.
• Drive revenue growth and deliver on agreed KPIs.
• Ensure consistent customer experience across multiple stores.
• Collaborate with senior leadership to align sales initiatives with overall business goals.
