General Manager

We are seeking an experienced General Manager with a strong sales and marketing focus to lead Greystone Wines based in Waipara, Canterbury. As the General Manager, you will be responsible for the overall strategic direction and day-to-day operations of the business, with a particular emphasis on driving sales and marketing initiatives to further grow the brand and market share.

A summary of what you'll be doing :

• Contribute to the overall strategic direction and decision-making of the business
• Develop and implement comprehensive sales and marketing strategies to increase brand awareness and drive revenue growth
• Manage and lead a team of professionals, providing guidance, coaching and support to ensure they achieve their targets
• Oversee all aspects of the company's operations, including production, distribution, and financial management
• Build and maintain strong relationships with key industry partners, suppliers, and customers
• Analyse market trends and competitor activity to identify new opportunities for growth and expansion
• Represent the company at industry events, conferences, and other high-profile engagements
