SICHUAN TONGUE ACACIA CATERING LTD is a Chinese Sichuan cuisine restaurant based in Christchurch. We are currently seeking an experienced Restaurant Manager to join our team. This is a full-time position where you will work for a minimum of 30 hours per week.
KEY TASK :
- Collaborating with chefs to plan menus and organizing special events.
- Coordinating the purchasing and pricing of goods within budgetary constraints.
- Maintaining accurate records of stock levels and financial transactions.
- Ensuring compliance with health regulations and maintaining cleanliness and functionality of dining facilities.
- Engaging with customers to assess their satisfaction with meals and service.
- Selecting, training, and supervising waiting and kitchen staff.
- Handling reservations, greeting guests, and assisting in taking orders as needed.
- Any other duties the employer / company may reasonably require
REQUIREMENTS :
NZQCF Level 4 relevant qualification OR at least 2 years of relevant experienceAbility to work in a fast-paced environment and handle high volumes of orders.Good communication and leadership skills.Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.Applicants for this position must have NZ residency or a valid NZ work visa.
