Overview
Step into a role where you'll be at the heart of surgical care in a state-of-the-art private hospital with four operating theatres.
You will support elective procedures for adults and children across a wide range of specialties including ENT, orthopaedics, spinal, plastics, general surgery, paediatrics, breast, vascular, bariatrics and urology.
As an Anaesthetic Technician or Registered Nurse Anaesthetic Assistant (RNAA), you'll be part of a skilled team delivering safe, high-quality care.
This is a full-time opportunity with 10-hour shifts Monday to Friday (7 : 00am–7 : 30pm) and involvement in the on-call roster.
Responsibilities
Assist the Anaesthetist in delivering safe, high-quality anaesthetic care
Accurately document intra-operative care and patient progress
Maintain and manage anaesthetic equipment to meet ANZCA standards
Facilitate safe patient transfers and thorough handovers
Support smooth day-to-day theatre operations alongside the wider clinical team

Skills & Experience / Qualifications
Minimum 2 years' current experience in Anaesthetics
Either :
Anaesthetic Technician registered with the Medical Sciences Council of NZ, holding a current APC, or
Registered Nurse (RN) with a current NZ APC, preferably with a postgraduate qualification in Anaesthetics
Strong teamwork, communication, and attention to detail in high-pressure theatre environments.
