Overview

At Sommerville School , our staff are our superpower. We provide a nurturing, inclusive, and dynamic learning environment for more than 365 neurodiverse learners aged 5–21 across our Panmure base, satellite classrooms, and community transition programme for young adults aged 18–21.

We’re seeking a dedicated and compassionate speech language therapist to join our team. You’ll play a key role in helping learners develop essential communication skills—supporting their confidence, connection, and success both in school and beyond.

Responsibilities

• Conduct assessments and create tailored communication plans
• Provide direct intervention for a range of learner needs
• Collaborate with teachers, support staff, and whānau to embed communication strategies
• Build strong relationships across school and community settings
• Contribute your expertise within a highly collaborative, values-driven team.
