Context

Central Auckland Specialist School provides education for students aged 5 to 21 years with intellectual and associated challenges, all of whom are ORS funded. Students are educated at the base school and satellite sites. The successful applicant will be part of a dynamic, collaborative team including occupational therapists, speech and language therapists, physiotherapists, teachers and learning assistants.

What we are looking for

• Passionate and collaborative speech language therapist with an interest in working with neurodiverse learners with sensory, behavioural and complex physical needs.
• Experience in school settings preferred.

Responsibilities

The role involves working as part of a multidisciplinary team to support students with communication needs, in line with school goals and individual plans.

Qualifications & Requirements

Remuneration and start date

Start date is Term 1, 2026, or by negotiation.
