We are seeking an experienced and passionate teacher to take on the role of Structured Literacy Acceleration (SLA) teacher in 2026. This is a 0.7 FTTE position (three days per week), with the option to extend to a full-time (1 FTTE) role by adding a CRT teaching component if preferred.

About the role

The SLA teacher will lead and support the continued implementation of the Better Start Literacy Approach (BSLA) and other structured literacy initiatives. Key responsibilities include :

• Overseeing the delivery of Tier 2 and Tier 3 BSLA interventions
• Using data to monitor student progress and guide next steps in teaching
• Supporting systems for early identification and targeted literacy support
• Working collaboratively with leadership and teaching teams to strengthen school-wide practice.
