Senior People & Culture Business Partner

Overview

Senior People & Culture Business Partner position at Downer. Based at the Kerrs Road office in Auckland with flexibility to also work in the Albany office.

Responsibilities

• Provide end-to-end HR support to a diverse portfolio of operational business units within the Energy & Utilities unit.
• Mentor and coach Human Resource Business Partners, guiding them in strategic, operational, and interpersonal roles and helping build their technical experience.
• Translate HR objectives into day-to-day operational deliverables with exceptional interpersonal and communication skills (written and verbal).
• Provide general HR and IR advice, support, and guidance using working knowledge of relevant legislation.
• Support managers with interpretation of policies and procedures and employment legislation.
• Foster a working environment where people feel engaged, rewarded, and valued.
• Build strong line-of-business relationships to collaborate, influence, and foster teamwork.
