We are a well-established Indian restaurant and takeaway located in New Plymouth, Taranaki.
We are seeking experienced and motivated Restaurant Manager to join our team.
The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the restaurant and ensuring our guests receive a high standard of service.
Duties and Responsibilities :
Plan menus in consultation with chefs, ensuring authenticity and quality in all dishesOrganise and manage special functions, catering, and event bookingsArrange the purchasing and pricing of goods in line with budget and quality standardsMaintain records of stock levels, daily sales, and financial transactionsEnsure the restaurant complies with all food safety and health regulationsSupervise and support kitchen and front-of-house staff, including recruitment, training, and performance managementHandle customer inquiries and feedback to maintain high satisfaction levelsManage cash registers, daily reconciliations, and overall financial operations of the businessCreate staff rosters and ensure adequate coverage during peak hoursMaintain a clean, welcoming, and well-organised dining environmentRequirements :
