The Teahouse – a beloved daytime destination nestled in the heart of Pukekura Park – is looking for an experienced Café Chef to join our close-knit team.

With a focus on quality, local produce and a balance of nostalgic and modern flavours, we're proud to offer food that's thoughtful, fresh and full of soul.

Responsibilities

Preparing and cooking a beautiful range of plated dishes and some cabinet offerings

Working with seasonal menus and contributing ideas for new items and specials

Maintaining high standards of food presentation, cleanliness, and kitchen organisation

Supporting smooth daily operations alongside our friendly FOH team

Qualifications

Has café or bistro-style cooking experience

Brings a positive, can-do attitude and team spirit

Is organised, efficient and calm under pressure

Has a flair for flavour and presentation

Works well independently and takes pride in their kitchen
