Are you a night owl looking for an awake night shift position in Nelson? This is a permanent part-time role with a free meal per awake shift. You’ll have extra annual leave, 2 wellbeing days, and Kiwisaver contribution.

The role

We're seeking a new team member for a part-time position to work in our acute mental health crisis respite service, working alongside the crisis assessment and treatment team. This facility is located in a beautiful villa in Nelson and offers 24-hour care. We support individuals experiencing mental health distress that prevents them from staying in their home environment and you will play a vital role in providing short-term crisis respite support.

The shift is Tuesday, Wednesday and Friday Awake Night shifts, 11pm to 7 : 30am in Nelson. A meal is provided for overnight awake staff.

You’ll also :

About you

For this role, you must hold a Level 4 Certificate in Health and Wellbeing (or an equivalent qualification or be currently working towards it). To check equivalency goto You should also have the ability to provide medication support with meticulous attention to detail. Additionally, you’ll align with our commitment to a recovery-focused approach.
