We are seeking Support Workers in the Nelson area to join our team to engage with clients and support them to live their lives in their communities in ways that are meaningful to them.ResponsibilitiesEngage with clients to support them to live their lives in their communities in meaningful waysBe a great communicator and able to use a variety of communication strategies (e.g., social media, texting, non-verbal communication aids)Commit to a client(s) for an extended period of timeContinually up skill your knowledge by attending information and training opportunitiesWhat we need from youHave some weekend availabilityAre experienced in (or willing to be trained)You must have your own vehicle and a Full driver's licenseHave a passion for helping peopleIf you have no Health Qualification your application MAY not be consideredHours and availabilityWe have a variety of hours ranging from 1 hour to part day or full day work, starting as casual / flexible, which can move towards guaranteed or permanent hours after some time.
