This is Slalom's first hire in Wellington, with a business builder mindset and a robust professional network to establish our presence in the New Zealand market.
You will help shape Slalom's trajectory in New Zealand and build our brand locally.What You'll DoStrategic Partnership : Collaborate with customers to influence strategic technical direction and identify opportunities where Slalom can help achieve business goals.Business Development : Drive opportunity identification, qualification, solutioning, and Statement of Work creation.
Partner with sales executives to formulate account strategies and pursuit plans, nurturing existing accounts and building new ones.Market Expansion : Support the growth of Slalom's Commercial and Public Sector portfolio in Wellington, leveraging your network and trusted advisor status.Growth Opportunities : Identify opportunities for growth and set strategic directions for Slalom offerings.Industry Expertise : Maintain awareness of industry best practices and government-related processes and understand how Slalom Practice Areas interact.Project Delivery : Oversee delivery quality for all sold / managed engagements, ensuring client satisfaction and providing delivery support where needed.Sales Pipeline Management : Manage a sales pipeline, generate and lead new opportunities, and respond to RFPs and service requests.Administrative Oversight : Ensure proper administrative controls on the account, including client billing and internal administration.Public Relations : Enhance Slalom's market presence by attending and speaking at industry events, establishing yourself as a thought leader.Collaborative Leadership : Work across teams with deep expertise in technology or a broad transformation skillset, becoming a specialist or versatile generalist.Purpose-Driven Engagement : Join Slalom with a clear purpose to help build and lead our public sector business over time.What You'll BringPrior consulting / services experience selling and managing a client revenue portfolioPrior delivery experience including programme and project managementAbility to establish and nurture executive-level client relationshipsBusiness and technical acumen to envision and define client solutions with Practice LeadersPrevious P&L responsibilities for accountsAbility to communicate effectively across all levels of the organisationExcellent negotiation, conflict management, problem solving and decision-making skillsConsistent track record of client / employee satisfactionOur ValuesOur culture and values reflect each individual Slalomer.
