About the role

This is a fabulous opportunity to join our corporate services team in supply chain. You will work alongside a passionate and motivated team in a supportive environment where you can continue to develop your career. Reporting to the Contracts and Cost Intelligence Manager, you will use your procurement management expertise on strategic Watercare projects. You will administer tenders and contract formation, and adjudicate tender pricing in partnership with the Cost & Estimation team to ensure the best value for Watercare customers.

About you

To be successful in this role, you will be a high achiever who enjoys a challenge and has a proven background in supply chain.

Your Skills And Background Will Include

• A tertiary qualification in engineering, construction, quantity surveying or business.
• A solid background in engineering / contract / procurement management in a large, complex organisation.
• A good understanding of commercial contract forms including CCCS, Framework Agreements, NZS3910 and NZS3916.
• Experience managing or sourcing contracts under NZS3910 / NZS3916 / CCCS / NEC3 / FIDIC.
• Experience in the preparation of management reports and approvals.
• Strong analytical and Microsoft Excel skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• An energetic and enthusiastic approach.
