This leadership role is central to ensuring the efficient day-to-day functioning of the Department and aligning operations with strategic objectives.ResponsibilitiesExecutive Support : Provide strategic and operational support to the Head of Department, including planning, reporting, staffing processes, and meeting coordination.Financial Management : Oversee budgets, research grants, and financial reporting; ensure accurate and efficient financial processes.Administration Oversight : Manage day-to-day administrative operations, including staffing, course administration, compliance, and student services.Mou | Who You AreYou will be an experienced Leader with at least 8+ years in a related role, as well as have : Extensive experience in a similar role, and experience in a tertiary education environment would be desirable.Proven leadership and staff management skills.Strong critical thinking, planning, and time management capabilities.Exceptional communication, interpersonal, and coaching skills.Advanced computer literacy, including Microsoft Office suite.In-depth knowledge of administrative systems and procedures.Strong financial acumen and experience managing budgets and reports.Experience working with diverse communities and fostering inclusive environments.An alignment with our organisation\'s values and culture, promoting a positive and inclusive work environment.Mahi Nga tahi | Who You Will Work WithTe Tari Puhanga Pumanawa Rorohiko | Computer Science and Software Engineering is about designing intelligent computer systems that empower people to work more efficiently and solve real-world problems.
