Hiringa Oranga O Awarua Limited - Awarua Whanau Services is seeking a capable and strategic Business Services Manager to join our senior leadership team.

This role is central to ensuring the smooth and effective operation of our organisation's daily activities and long-term sustainability.

As Business Services Manager, You Will

Support seamless collaboration across teams and oversee core administrative functions including finance, payroll, HR, IT, Health and Safety, marketing and communications.

Manage resources to enhance organisational productivity and efficiency.

Lead the development and delivery of robust business systems and strategic initiatives.

Provide strategic direction and operational leadership across all business support functions.

Our Ideal Candidate

He korero mou / About you

Has proven experience in business development, strategic planning, or operational leadership.

Financial literacy and proficiency in budgeting and reporting; with a bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or Economics.

Strong understanding of kaupapa Maori frameworks, tikanga, and te reo Maori.

Experience in health, social services, or community development and familiarity with government funding and contract management.

Demonstrates strong organisational and communication skills.

Is committed to kaupapa Maori values and responsive to the aspirations of whanau, hapu, and iwi.

Can build and maintain respectful relationships with individuals, whanau, key partners, and the community.
