About the Company

This is a small international software business which has just been rolling out a new product.

With a tight-knit team of less than a hundred (mostly tech people), there is a real chance here to be a part of something big enough to impact but without the layers of management in a large corporate.

Based in South Auckland — modern, relaxed offices.

About the Role

This is a true all-rounder finance role where you'll be across everything from month-end to budgeting and cashflow.

With most of the transactional work covered, you'll have time to really get stuck into the numbers and make a difference.

There's also scope to help tidy up systems and support smarter decision-making once the month end is tight and tidy and budgets / forecasts are sorted.

Key Responsibilities

Run month-end, balance sheet recs, and cashflow forecasting

Look after AR and manage outsourced payroll and AP

Consolidate results across international entities

Help pull together budgets in the new year and dig into the numbers for insights

Spot opportunities to tidy up processes and improve systems longer term

Qualifications

You're a qualified accountant (CA / CPA or similar)

Confident with the nuts and bolts of month-end and reporting

Comfortable with Excel and don't mind a bit of manual work

You like variety and don't need a big team to make things happen

Good communicator who works well with others

Can think commercially and enjoy solving problems

Happy being mostly onsite in South Auckland with a day at home
