The role

As a Client Manager, you will provide a range of Business Services to clients. This is a fantastic opportunity to take on advisory work with a mixture of complex accounting. Your clients will include companies, partnerships, trusts, and individuals.

This role will suit someone who can take ownership of the role and show more than just an interest in the numbers. You need to have good business acumen and an open communication style. The key focus is ensuring financial health and advising processes to promote profitability, growth and long‑term success for clients’ businesses.

This is a permanent full‑time mandate based in Central Auckland; closely accessible to public transport, restaurants and cafes.

Key Responsibilities

• Preparing financial statements, management projections, KPIs, business plans, etc.
• Reviewing compliance work prepared by onshore and offshore team members.
• Tax – confident in doing and advising on tax matters.
• Overseeing accounting systems, procedures and workflow management.
• Managing multiple projects simultaneously while meeting deadlines.
• Acting as the key contact point for clients’ requirements.
• Leading, mentoring, and inspiring a team of advisors and consultants, fostering a culture of collaboration, excellence, and continuous improvement.

About You

You are experienced and capable, eager to learn from the team while taking on a leadership role. You are dynamic, willing to understand the whole business, and possess a genuine positive personality.

You demonstrate technical competence in accounting and tax, compounding a calm, agile, client‑focused, and self‑motivated approach.
