This role in our CBD office will provide you with a challenging and rewarding career where you will be exposed to a wide variety of tax issues and clients.
In this role, you'll work closely with clients to help grow their businesses, offering practical advice and leading engagements from planning through to delivery.
You'll supervise team members, review financial reports and provide clear, accurate guidance on tax and accounting matters.
You'll be part of a collaborative team, working with internal stakeholders and clients to deliver high-quality service and drive performance.

Key Responsibilities
Work with clients to identify business issues, develop strategic plans and implement solutions for sustainable growth
Draft accurate and technically correct advice on accounting standards, tax compliance and business management principles
Analyse and interpret client financial reports and management accounts to provide actionable insights
Advise on tax-effective strategies including trust income distribution, group structures, FBT, GST, PAYE, and indirect taxes
Supervise medium to large jobs through to review stage and conduct final reviews for small to medium engagements
Demonstrate strong problem-solving skills and escalate complex issues appropriately for resolution
Communicate complex concepts and solutions clearly and effectively to clients in both verbal and written formats
Motivate, mentor, and develop team members to foster a high-performance culture within BAS
Experience
Ideally 5+ years of business advisory experience in a CA environment
Accounting background and / or working towards CA qualification
Strong technical and analytical skills
