Job DescriptionThere's no pledge more important than the one we make to have a positive impact on community and the environment, and we're committed to helping you do exactly that.Join us as we strive for a sustainable future for our communities and the world we live in.Become part of our global network of skilled engineers, scientists, planners and environmental specialists, all working together to leave this world better than we found it.GHD is actively a seeking highly motivated and skilled Environmental Planner to join our team in Auckland, Hamilton, New Plymouth, Wellington and / or Christchurch.We contribute to a wide variety of projects, with a strategic focus on transport, water, renewable energy and social infrastructure.Working with an energetic and high performing team, this position offers a variety of work and will see you : Contributing to the preparation of comprehensive environmental assessments, planning approval applications and policy documents in compliance with New Zealand regulatory frameworksUndertaking consultation and liaison with consent authorities, iwi, stakeholders, landowners, public and affected partiesProviding support and guidance to junior plannersManaging individual tasks on projects, collaborating effectively with project stakeholders to ensure positive client experience in project deliveryWorking with a national team of planners, including learning from Senior Planners and our highly experienced Technical DirectorsGrowing and developing professionally through mentoring, training, and active involvement in professional organisations and our GHD global technical communitiesBeing part of our diverse, collaborative and supportive GHD culture, with the ability to work flexibly for work-life balanceAbout you : Bachelor's Degree with a minimum of 2 years' experience in resource management planningIntermediate membership of the NZPI desiredExperience with district and regional consenting, particularly for infrastructure projectsArticulate, professional and excellent written and oral communication skillsFlexible in approach to solving problems and dealing with challengesProactive, self-motivated and energeticClick 'Apply' to submit your CV or reach out to Zen Chua (
