As an environmental scientist / asbestos or hazardous materials consultant, you will work on iconic, diverse, multi-disciplinary projects for some of New Zealand's largest clients, offering pragmatic and cost-effective solutions for asbestos and hazardous materials management and removal projects.

Team Leadership may be an option now or in the future.ResponsibilitiesConducting asbestos and other hazardous materials surveys, removal oversight and clearance inspections, exposure health risk assessments, and the development and implementation of management plansProducing high-quality technical reportsSupport or lead hazardous materials projects, including project management support, scoping and budgeting for proposalsBuild strong relationships with clients and stakeholders, providing pragmatic advice and solutionsMentoring and leadership (for senior roles) : sharing knowledge, coaching, and developing junior team members, and contributing to building a high-performing team cultureOur projects take us across New Zealand, so some travel is part of the role.
